Our Smith Brother’s design team, Emily and Reggie, were fabulous and fun to work with. Emily also guided us through all the design selections from drapery, flooring, tile, furniture, and decorative elements. She had great ideas and sources.
Our renovation included three bathroom remodels, window and door replacement for the entire home, hardscape and landscaping of front and back outdoor patios including a new spa tub and outdoor kitchen. We also updated all major mechanical systems including electrical and plumbing, HVAC system, and fireplace. We will enjoy our Smith Brothers beach home renovation with family & friends for years to come.”

“We were referred to Smith Brothers Construction by our architects and after considering other builders and touring many homes, we chose SBC to build our new home. We were completely impressed by Jeff Smith at our initial meeting and our first impressions turned out to be spot on. Jeff and his staff are the penultimate professionals, yet extremely down-to-earth and approachable. At the outset we were given Jeff’s direct line and told to call anytime “night or day,” but never once, during the entire course of construction, did we feel the need to. We were kept completely in the loop from the get-go and there was not one issue that wasn’t already addressed and resolved by Jeff and staff before we were even aware any (few that did) had arisen. From day one, Jeff constantly interfaced with our design and us, insuring that everyone was on the same page as the project progressed. He was budget-conscious from the beginning and was happy to show us alternative ideas when budget concerns arose.
SBC superintendent, Harold, was onsite full-time before the first shovel hit the dirt, keeping everything moving, insuring the safety of the workers, maintaining order for the neighbors, smooth communication with the city, and continuous engagement with us, the architects and designers and the subs. All subcontractors were professional, hardworking, polite and friendly. The job site was always clean and secure and our neighbors kept happy.
Ultimately we were delivered a gorgeous, state of the art, top quality home that we love. There’s not one thing that we would change about our home or the wonderful experience of having Smith Brothers Construction build it. A very happy (and unexpected) side benefit for us was that salt-of-the-earth Jeff Smith and his wonderful wife Cheryl have become good friends of ours.
